Good Quality, Low Stretch

I've got some minor, low-altitude tree work I need to do this spring, and got this rope for general rigging and a backup safety line. It appears to be good quality with very little stretch.

Well made and long

This 150' spool of 1/2" arborist rope is well made and strong. It has a maximum rating of 3968 lbs. and I think that is pretty accurate for a short run of it.Pros: This rope has very little stretch and feels very strong. It came nicely packaged (just like the advertisement) and it is bright orange to make it stand out.Cons: The rope diameter is slightly less than the advertised diameter.

Nice braided utility rope

Great for rigging or other utility use. No defects in the entire length and so far it's durable. Great price.

Tough, Thick Rope

I like to keep rope and strap material around for both general and emergency purposes. However, a lot of the rope I can find lately either is not strong enough for my liking or is ridiculously expensive. This 50' coil of rope is extremely strong (almost 4,000 lbs capacity) and won't break the bank. The weave is very tight and the material appears to be durable and seems as if it would have a high wear resistance. While I won't be using this for climbing, I am certain it will serve me well in many other areas. A good quality rope at a good price.

A Good General Purpose Rope

Overall, this is a good general purpose rope. However, I am not sure if I would use it specifically for climbing. I personally use it for tree work on my property, but just for things like controlling, guiding, and lowering large limbs after being cut. Construction wise, it is a well built rope. It has a tight, durable sheath. It's smooth, flexible, and has all the things you would typically want and expect to see from a good quality rope. However, there are some red flags about its certification that make me suspicious that it may not be authentic or at least certified to normal international standards. Then there is the biggest red flag, which is that the rope itself does not have any actual certification tags on it anywhere. Which is an absolute global standard for all certified ropes. However, it of course would be best if you did your own research on all of that. Other than the possibly questionable certification, this is still a good, strong, general purpose rope. In reality, if I had to in an emergency, I personally would have no problem actually climbing with it. It's a great rope overall, I'm glad to have it as part of my gear, and I would recommend it.
