I loved that this fan takes milwuakee batteries. This fan also comes with a 120v plug in option if yiur batteries run out. Battery life is really good but bigger batteries are always better.
Not sure what to expect of this fan, but as we had recent construction, I thought it'd help to have a fan blowing through the rooms during the day.Although all the construction smell took a long time to dissipated, I do find that with the fan, it at least circulate the air. I can see this fan being useful in other situation more (like if you want smoke to blow away from you while you are outside).I have only plugged the fan into an outlet, but you can put batteries in (not included) and use it outdoor without worrying about outlets or the wire being in the way!.The fan is mostly composed of plastic, but it seems sturdy enough to be outside for short periods of time.The biggest factor about this fan is how strong it can blow, but for me, I am not sure where else I would use this fan. I am considering the garage when it is hot in the summer and needs air flow while someone is working in there.Good fan, but the use may be more limited.

This fan is pretty handy. It has a range of speed/flow options that are controlled by the dial. It can get pretty quiet at the lowest setting and puts out a good amount of air at the highest setting. The included power adapter is handy if you plan to use it with power nearby.There are a couple of things that aren't perfect. The fan resonates easily compared to other fans on some surfaces; this increases the noise greatly at times. I exchanged the first fan I purchased, the second one was quieter, so there might be some variance in quality. There is slack in the motor-to-body mount, which causes some noise resonances at about 90% full power on mine. At full output, the grill on the fan sounds pretty restrictive, there's a significant amount of noise that isn't related to the motor spinning etc. It would also be nice if there was some kind of molded storage for the power supply.All-in-all this fan will be handy for projects where there isn't power nearby and will be amazing for camping. For the cost, I wouldn't consider buying the name brand fan, but this one is a good buy!
