Climbing Hangboard, Wooden Fingerboard for Finger Strength, Grip & Indoor Training

It's made of a nice soft wood and has no finish on it, which is preferred for grip. The variety of depths is great as well. I would never recommend you use drywall anchors for this, as you should always mount into studs when possible, especially if you ever plan to hang with additional weight. I would also recommend some higher quality screws. These strip pretty easily. It does exactly what it needs to do.

This URBANVISTA Climbing Hangboard Rock is a no-frills, yet effective hangboard. It comes with decent anchors and screws for mounting. The board is one solid piece of wood and the various holds are smoothly cut and finished. There isn't a lot of excess fluff, just the basics that give you enough variety to train your grip but not waste space.

This hangboard is nothing fancy at all, but it's absolutely great for what it's designed for. It's a solid piece of wood and all the holes are nicely radiused and smoothly sanded. The various finger depths and placements are perfect for different types of hanging and holding exercises. Mounting is straightforward. Just be sure to use a stud finder to go directly into wall studs. I didn't use the plastic screw anchors they provided. This is a simple, yet perfectly designed hangboard.

My son is a rock climber and has a makeshift version of this on his wall. He uses it all the time. This one is very quality - seems heavy duty with lots of holds (I think that's what you call them??). I may have finally found a gift that my son will actually like!

The Good:
Easy to hang, I would suggest on a wall that has a solid wood beams over the door way.
multiple depth holes to work finger strength up.
I have a "bad back", and hanging from this helps stretch out my back.
I am excited to keep my finger strength up as I get older.
It come finished and sanded, but they supply sand paper incase you want to smooth it out further.

Nothing ugly to mention either. Turns out that this is actually a great conversation piece as it hangs in my dining room and people don't know what it is. anything from a modern art sculpture to "what is that a beehive?"
