I purchased this OtterOasis 39" console table in white. This is packaged well, and carefully. No missing parts or and chipped damaged wood.
Assembly took about 45 minutes. You'll need a Phillips and flathead screwdriver for assembly. Once assembled, the drawers glide smoothly and the entire unit is solid with no wobble.
My one star reduction is due to the visible screw holes and screws. It would have been a simple thing for the manufacturer to add some matching plastic caps to cover the recesses. That is the only thing that somewhat ruins the overall look of the table (see close up of table sides in my pictures).
I'm using my console in the entry to my bedroom as a catch all space for my purse, keys, and whatnot.
I feel this is a terrific value at $119
Nice quality and easy to assemble.
It's the perfect size for our laundry room. Clothes can be placed on the countertop, laundry detergent can be placed underneath, and small items can be placed in the drawers.
This table is perfect for our entryway. I love the farmhouse/rustic theme. The table is extremely heavy, which I can appreciate for any potential tipping hazard. It didn’t take a whole lot of effort to put it together outside of the high amount of weight that we need to balance to assemble it. I absolutely love the space that I’m able to fill with the consult table and have the extra storage as well.
For starters, this is a beautiful piece and I’m excited to use it as a coffee bar. It has decent storage space underneath for baskets for organization and two drawers. Assembly took maybe an hour with two people and it wasn’t difficult, but the instructions were unclear in some parts and we had to backtrack a couple of times to reassemble for certain steps (i.e. in the instructions it showed a piece without holes one side up and then we had to redo it for the holes to be the right facing side). Ignore the photo with gaps in between the drawers, I realized afterward that the drawers needed to be swapped to fill that gap, so there otherwise is not a gap if each drawer is on its proper side! Learn from me on that if you have a gap at the end, hah. Otherwise a gorgeous piece and worth it.
We are using this shelving unit in our four season room to hold items that we use in the room or when we go out the back door. It was fairly easy to put together. I really like having two drawers and the two open shelves. We have added storage boxes to the shelves which helps to keep items out of sight and they fit perfectly. This unit also hold our Wii and that makes it easier to access.
